ON BEING A BIT MORE MINDFUL THIS MONTH

This post isn't going to have too much structure to it, but more rambling about how I've been feeling this September and what I want to focus on going forward. Evidently, I've been posting a lot lately and I've stepped away from constantly writing about deep topics to focus on some more lighthearted ones. With that has come a lot of discussion about things. As I've mentioned countless times on my blog, I have been attempting my own version of minimalism and it seems to come into contrast with my enjoyment discussing objects that bring joy to my day to day life.

SELF-CARE TIPS TO RECOVER FROM A LONG WEEK

Up until very recently I was working a full-time job, day in day out, so I know how tough it can be to feel rested or relaxed throughout the week. Countless times (especially during the winter) I would come home exhausted, unwilling to do anything other than sit on the couch and endlessly watch episodes of Forensic Files. However, I quickly noticed that most of the time doing that made me feel worse and much more lethargic than if I was to take the initiative work out. The last few weeks I’ve taken some measures to mend the stress of a long workweek and I thought I'd share them in this post. These tips are what seem to make me feel a bit better so hopefully that can help anyone else struggling with a hectic lifestyle.
