NYX Ultimate Shadow Palette In Warm Neutrals: Is It Worth It?

In an attempt to get a bit more colour in my life during the dreary autumn/winter months I decided to pick up the NYX Ultimate Shadow Palette in Warm Neutrals, something I’d been coveting for a while now. I didn’t want to invest in something similar, but higher end like the Kylie Cosmetics Burgundy Palette because I was worried that maybe I wouldn’t like the look of those types of shades on me and would then be stuck with something that costs close to $50 and not want to use it. So, instead I opted to dabble in the shades with something much more affordable and have been testing it out for the past few weeks to really get a feel for both the NYX mattes and shimmers.

My Most Used Makeup & Skin Care Products This Autumn

I’m always a bit reluctant to write about makeup on my blog because I don’t really know all that much about it and don’t quite feel like it’s always a productive topic to discuss. I often find myself backing away from it because there isn’t much constructive dialogue that can be had about makeup as there can be with topics like mental health or work. However, after suffering from a painful ankle sprain during the second last week of November and not leaving my house for 6 days straight, it suddenly hit me why we as women (and also some men) lean on makeup and find confidence in it at times when you might not be feeling your best.
