5 Things No One Tells You About Wearing Makeup

Most people talk about their interest in makeup stemming from elementary or high school and growing exponentially as they got older. While I am somewhat in that boat, I only recently really fell head first into the beauty community online. Before 2013 I only ever wore a bit of mascara and maybe a powder to smooth out my skin if I needed it that day, but other than that I never really understood what all the hype was about. It was only when I started appreciating the techniques that went into application and the formulas that different brands produced that I learned a few lessons no one tells you before you start wearing makeup. NYX Ultimate Shadow Palette In Warm Neutrals: Is It Worth It?

In an attempt to get a bit more colour in my life during the dreary autumn/winter months I decided to pick up the NYX Ultimate Shadow Palette in Warm Neutrals, something I’d been coveting for a while now. I didn’t want to invest in something similar, but higher end like the Kylie Cosmetics Burgundy Palette because I was worried that maybe I wouldn’t like the look of those types of shades on me and would then be stuck with something that costs close to $50 and not want to use it. So, instead I opted to dabble in the shades with something much more affordable and have been testing it out for the past few weeks to really get a feel for both the NYX mattes and shimmers.
