Most people talk about their interest in makeup stemming from elementary or high school and growing exponentially as they got older. While I am somewhat in that boat, I only recently really fell head first into the beauty community online. Before 2013 I only ever wore a bit of mascara and maybe a powder to smooth out my skin if I needed it that day, but other than that I never really understood what all the hype was about. It was only when I started appreciating the techniques that went into application and the formulas that different brands produced that I learned a few lessons no one tells you before you start wearing makeup. How To Do A Proper Beauty Clear-Out

I recently had a bit of a beauty clear-out and it felt incredibly good to make some space on my already cluttered set of drawers. I tend to forget what I have in my collection or lose interest in some products then buy more without really considering what that will mean for my storage space and maintenance later on down the line. While I tend to have a beauty clear-out once every few months, it isn’t always easy. Half the fun of collecting makeup is that you get to revisit it and rediscover old favourites that bring you joy. 4 PRODUCT MINIMALIST MAKEUP

If you're as lazy as I am when it comes to makeup then this is the post for you. Over the past few months/years I've experimented a lot with different products and looks. I've given the winged liner look the good old college try, played around with highlighter (a lot), and occasionally dabbled in eyeshadow looks that are a bit more sophisticated than just one colour.
